CURRICULUM AND LEARNING
Our goal is to promote “International mindedness”, manifesting a sense of morality to all the human beings in the global society.
The PYP curriculum framework is designed for learners aged 6 - 10. The curriculum is trans disciplinary and is ideal for students to become active lifelong learners.
Collaboration, responsibility and taking action are the focus of PYP. Our students are guided by expert teachers who effectively help in moulding the knowledge and skills in a happy and enthusiastic environment
Early learning in the PYP is a holistic learning experience that integrates socio - emotional, physical and cognitive development.
In the PYP classroom, it takes place in dynamic environments that promote play, discovery and exploration.
We offer a comprehensive, concept driven, student - centric and inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning that fosters the development of thinking, communication, self management, social and research skills.
The learners are engaged in challenging, relevant, critical and creative thinking activities. We also ensure student - centric learning engagements.
The learners explore the essential elements in the unit, reflect their learning through student agency, assess their learning through self and peer assessments which supports student agency and also make connections to real world experiences.
The units of inquiry are designed to help foster their imaginations and meet new challenges and opportunities to help build a peaceful world.
Children are natural inquirers from birth; they have the capacity to learn about, interact with, and interpret the world around them.
From birth, children possess all kinds of mental abilities uniquely suited to these early phases of learning and development.
They are curious and capable learners with a sense of agency, rich in potential, bringing valid skills, preferences, and understanding to the educational process.
