STUDENT COUNCIL
As a IB school we believe in student agency and given opportunities to students to foster skills like leadership, decision making, communication, team work, organisation and public speaking.
Our student council stand out to explicit the above mentioned skills. Our ggians are divide in to four houses which are named as Aqua, Aura, Terra and Flamma. We have an outstanding student council which comprises of head girl, head boy and the leaders of the four houses.
Student council actively involves in all the school issues and always takes responsibility of the younger ones. They are teaching new skills to their younger ones around the school campus.

G Global nurtures leadership qualities from the most earliest of stages with every growing, curious mind. Placing these responsibilities with potential individuals not only makes them quick problem solvers but also foster values of ethics, that they would reflect positively in their succeeding circumstances and in return sculpt themselves into courageous, self disciplined, independent learners.
G Global School believes in challenging our learners on everyday basis preparing them for all times. As decision makers, the learners collaboratively interact with facilitators to share their ideas and suggestions. This way the learners engage and develop team spirt in every activity they do. Ggians support each other and facilitators play a major role achieving their learning goals. We promote active collaboration among members of the school community. Also our support towards building teamwork leads to a positive learning environment.
Ethical leaders recognize the talent of their followers. The same way we identify the qualities of excellence in each learner and faculty of the school community, recognize theme for their uniqueness and promote those individuals in ways that create goodwill among all the members of the school community. The other side of recognizing talent is maximizing it where we place each member to exhibit their potentials in building socially healthy teams. This affords opportunities to develop interpersonal relationship among members in our organization as a whole.
BENEFITS
At GGS, the Student Council and the leadership programme helps develop strong leadership skills by giving learners a dedicated space to share their opinions in the running of the school.
The main goal of the Student Council is to build teamwork and initiate and be role models to others. Suggestions from learners are valued and given agency in every GGS activity.
The Student Council members are given the responsibility to take a major role in planning of interesting activities such as Sports Day, Teachers’ Day,Whole school assembly, National and International celebrations and events, Yearbook and many more.
Members of the student council are chosen through the Investiture ceremony every year. The school head boy and school head girl lead followed by the four house captains and vice captains.
The four houses at GGS are Flamma, Terra, Aqua, Aura. The school formally entrusts responsibilities on the ‘young leaders’, who also pledge to bestow their duties honestly, sincerely and to the best of their abilities, during this ceremony.
